Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a visionary VP of Product for Growth and Monetization to own two critical metrics—DAUs and revenue. Based in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA, you will lead a large, high-velocity org of PMs and report to the Chief Product Officer as part of the Product Leadership and SLT.

You will drive experimentation, set clear north star metrics, and build scalable product operating mechanisms to sustain growth with a learner-first mindset. Equity is included along with base compensation.

Qualifications

• Executive product leadership with measurable impact on DAUs or revenue.
• Experience leading managers of managers and developing product leaders.
• Proven track record in growth and monetization for freemium/subscription products.
• Ability to work across Product, Engineering, Design, Data and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Own DAUs and revenue, and deliver both against forecast.
• Manage pillar leads for Growth and Monetization (~20 PMs).
• Coach senior product leaders and raise the bar for talent.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to ship quickly with clear tradeoffs.
• Build product operating rituals: north star metrics, planning, and reviews.
• Allocate resources across Growth and Monetization for steady optimization and big swings.
• Be the voice for Growth and Monetization at the executive level.
