Job summary

Duolingo seeks a visionary VP of Product for Growth and Monetization to own its two core metrics, DAUs and revenue. You’ll lead the Growth and Monetization pillar with ~20 PMs, coach senior leaders, and partner with Engineering and Design to ship strategically important experiments.

This hybrid role is based in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA and reports to the Chief Product Officer. You will drive world-class operating mechanisms, align leadership on priorities, and own the plan to hit ambitious

Qualifications

• Executive product leadership in consumer tech with measurable impact on DAUs or revenue.
• High judgment and operational rigor without sacrificing user experience.
• Track record of leading managers of managers and developing product leaders.
• Experience leading through change: reorganizations and faster execution.
• Cross-functional alignment of Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Own DAUs and revenue and deliver against forecast.
• Manage pillar leads in Growth and Monetization, an org of ~20 PMs.
• Coach and develop senior product leaders.
• Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to ship quickly.
• Build world-class product operating mechanisms: north stars, rituals, and A/B testing.
• Allocate resources across Growth and Monetization for steady optimization and bigger swings.
• Be the single executive voice for Growth and Monetization at the SLT.
