Job summary

Fivetran, a leader in data integration, is seeking a Product Manager for Developer Experience to own the end-to-end developer workflow in dbt Cloud, including Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the dbt VS Code Extension. Based in Austin with a hybrid pattern, you will shape how thousands of data practitioners move, transform, and trust their data.

You will partner with the Fusion team to align capabilities, define AI-powered experiences, and translate developer needs into the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in developer tools or technical platforms.
• Direct experience managing IDE or developer environment products.
• Demonstrated engagement with AI-powered development tools.
• Strong technical foundation to work with engineering teams.
• Experience conducting user research and translating feedback into roadmaps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work asynchronously in a distributed team.
• Comfortable with remote collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer experience roadmap across Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and VS Code Extension.
• Partner with the Fusion team to align on capabilities and surface Fusion-powered intelligence in UX.
• Lead AI-native product development for Developer Agent and related tooling.
• Drive IDE and tooling strategy informed by modern development environments.
• Define cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM to ship high-quality experiences.
• Build tight feedback loops with the dbt community and enterprise customers.
• Conduct market and user research to inform the roadmap and external perspectives.
• Align investments to company goals and Fusion platform strategy.
