Job summary

Fivetran is hiring a Product Manager to lead the dbt v2 roadmap and monetize local deployments while integrating with dbt Core and Fusion plugins. You will work with the US-based engineering team to align strategy with technical delivery, enabling a product-led growth motion across the Fusion platform.

You bridge open source strategy with business impact and collaborate across engineering, product, and platform teams to ship features on a predictable cadence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in technical domains such as developer tooling, data platforms, or open source software.
• Strong grasp of system architectures for local deployments and how they scale to enterprise use cases.
• Understanding of how open source investments drive PLG growth and product strategy.
• Ability to bridge technical delivery with business impact and revenue metrics.
• Experience working with engineering teams to define, prioritize, and ship complex features.
• Excellent communication with open source contributors and enterprise users.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the dbt v2 roadmap, shipping new functionality like SQL comprehension, compute, governance, and SAO.
• Define Fusion feature requirements that integrate with the dbt platform and unlock enterprise value.
• Keep the Fusion engineering team aligned and executing on a predictable cadence.
• Contribute hands-on to dbt Core and Fusion codebases, including reviews and small feature work.
• Collaborate with OSS strategy leads and platform PMs to deliver a unified roadmap.
