Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a Product Filler for our Northlake, TX facility. This full‑time position operates on the 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm, Mon and Fri) with a wage of $20.60–$21.63 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 60 lbs, operating a lift, inventory control, and ensuring HACCP/BRC compliance. We offer competitive pay and benefits, a diverse and inclusive culture, and opportunities for career growth within a major private-label foods company.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Ability to read in English and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up materials from pallet or hand truck and deposit into hopper machine. Lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Operate walk behind lift.
  • Follow schedule to run proper product and maintain records.
  • Clean equipment and area and verify materials used.
  • Track waste and maintain QA standards (AIB, BRC, HACCP).
  • Record production and maintain accurate records and specifications.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following
  • Pick up materials from pallet, hand truck, etc. and deposit ingredients into hopper machine. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control System
  • Operate walk behind lift.
  • Follow schedule to run proper product
  • Clean equipment and area
  • Inspect and verify materials being used
  • Track waste
  • Record production, review and maintain accurate records and specifications
  • Maintain area in accordance with AIB, BRC and HACCP standards
  • Follow safety policies and standard work procedures
  • Return unused product to inventory
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, 8 hours shift structure, which operates from 2:00pm to 10:30am Monday and Friday (Pay $20.60/hr - $21.63/hr) + $1/hr shift differential.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer over 3 months up to and including 12 months of qualifying experience in related work or including lower level jobs within or outside the company.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to read in English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions. Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, computer scanning devices, adjustable measuring instruments. Check reports, forms, records and comparable data, where interpretation requires basic skills knowledge.
