Job summary

Eaton's Product Engineer Intern program in South Milwaukee, WI offers a twelve-week paid internship where you support the MoL Engineering team with sustaining engineering activities for medium voltage equipment. You’ll perform engineering analysis, create designs, run tests, and contribute to cost and process improvements.

Under guidance from experienced engineers, you’ll gain hands-on experience in CAD, FEA, and other analysis tools, while learning DFMA concepts and product development

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering bachelor's or master's program with graduation no earlier than Dec 2027.
• Minimum GPA 2.8.
• Residence within 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and improve product design data (BOMs, 3D models, drawings, specs).
• Assist in introducing new products and changes to existing ones.
• Support production and manufacturing engineering with issue resolution.
• Learn and apply DFMA methods.
• Learn engineering analysis and simulation tools (CAD, FEA, statistics).
