Job summary

HUD is seeking a Product Manager to own the data marketplace product, enabling data vendors to publish RL environments and training data while helping research teams discover and evaluate offerings. You’ll collaborate with engineering, research, GTM, and operations to translate needs into practical product decisions.

You will influence vendor onboarding, workflow improvements, and marketplace health metrics while shaping the product strategy for a growing marketplace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have owned a live software product from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows for users.
• Experience talking with users to identify underlying problems and set priorities.
• Balance user needs, business impact, and engineering constraints in decisions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative signals to evaluate product changes.
• Strong written communication and cross-team collaboration in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the marketplace product lifecycle from understanding vendor and buyer needs to launch and iterate.
• Improve vendor onboarding, submission, quality feedback, and offerings on HUD.
• Improve discovery, assessment, and access to environments and training data for researchers.
• Translate complex requirements into reliable platform workflows with engineering, research, GTM, and operations.
• Define and track marketplace health, product adoption, and user experience metrics.
