Job summary

Responsibilities include evaluating requests, analyzing requirements, generating new products, conducting tests, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline (required).
• 3+ years of engineering experience in design, development, or project management (required).
• Proficiency in CAD systems (Autodesk, SolidWorks) and related design tools.
• Experience interpreting design standards in electrical industry and applying to production.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and communicate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, reviewing and evaluating project requests and planning general activities for project completion.
• Analyzing customer technical requirements and providing product recommendations.
• Generating new products through the NPD system or ETO process to meet requirements.
• Carrying out design or development work, performing simulations, selecting materials, and generating specifications.
• Participating on cross-functional teams to ensure completion of all tasks.
• Initiating drawing orders, engineering changes, sample requests, and other processes to complete assignments.
• Reporting status and progress of projects and coordinating with other departments for improvements.
