Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Manchester, NH, seeks an Engineer to support the BURNDY Grounding Product Line with design, new product development, line maintenance, and cross-functional project support for assigned product projects. You will coordinate engineering tasks and work with teams to complete projects efficiently.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of engineering experience. Proficiency in CAD software and familiar with industry standards is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline (required).
• 3+ years of engineering experience with focus on design, development, or project management (required).
• Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk, SolidWorks) and other design/analysis tools (required).
• Knowledge of electrical industry design standards related to product design released to production.
• Proven project management experience including planning, coordination, communication and execution.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and evaluate project requests and plan activities for completion.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide product recommendations.
• Generate new products via NPD/ETO processes to meet application requirements.
• Perform simulations/tests and generate product specifications to meet goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure task completion for projects.
• Report status and progress of projects and support additional duties to complete assignments.
• Engage with other departments for DFMA, cost reductions, and process improvements.
