Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Engineer for the BURNDY Grounding Product Line Business Team. You will design, develop new products, maintain lines, and support assigned projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of engineering experience, with proficiency in CAD tools such as Autodesk and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in design, development, or project management.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as Autodesk and SolidWorks is required.
• Ability to interact with multiple departments including supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and plan project activities for completion.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide product recommendations.
• Generate new products via NPD or ETO processes to meet requirements.
• Perform design, simulations, material selection, and create product specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete project tasks.
• Initiate and process drawings, changes, samples and purchase requests.
• Report project status and progress to stakeholders.
