Job summary

ATI Specialty Alloys & Components is seeking a Product Engineer – Materials Engineering in Millersburg, Oregon to own and optimize metal products across multiple alloy systems. You will split time between process improvements on the production floor and writing clear instructions for production to convert intermediate to finished products.

The role requires a engineering degree and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related field) is required.
• Eligibility to obtain a DOE security clearance is required.
• Willingness to provide information for eligibility and authorization to access DoD/DOE related information may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and specifications for manufacturability.
• Write process instructions and ensure alignment with standards.
• Continuously improve processes to reduce costs and cycle time.
• Lead cross-functional teams for problem solving and improvements.
• Provide technical assistance to customers within the product line.
• Support customer, supplier, and internal audits.
