Job summary

AWT Labels & Packaging in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking an experienced engineer to drive cost-saving initiatives, new product introductions, and SCR/ECR processes across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and R&D to deliver reliable labeling solutions and on-site technical support for key customers.

The role requires 5+ years in an engineering environment, a strong grasp of materials, die-cutting, and manufacturing methods, and a track record of delivering cost

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years engineering experience in product environment.
Experience with cost estimating, SCR/ECR processes and product launches.

Responsibilities

Oversee engineering standard work through product lifecycle including costing, launch, and quality improvements.
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, including on-site visits when required.
Lead R&D projects such as new product development and process improvements.
