Qualifications

• General ability to operate machinery and equipment.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Able to take direction from supervisor and press operator.
• Able to work in a changing priority environment.
• Demonstrated accuracy with numbers and information.
• Punctual and safety conscious.
• Forklift training is a plus.
• Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Mount plates and bring materials to press for next job.
• Refill press supplies as needed and maintain neat work area.
• Return supplies after job completion and move finished products to finishing area.
• Assist in efficient press changeovers and respond to operator requests.
• Catches off the press and assists with daily housekeeping tasks.
• Participate in quality improvement to ensure accuracy of time and materials.
• Support training and mentoring as needed.
