Job summary

Anthropic is hiring product engineers to design and ship internal products at the intersection of engineering, product, and design. You’ll own outcomes, work directly with users, and build abstractions that unlock capabilities for a broad range of users.

You’ll prototype across backend, frontend, and infrastructure, collaborate with stakeholders, and iterate rapidly to improve the user experience. A strong systems mindset and independence are valued.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building production software.
• Ability to work independently and ship end-to-end.
• Strong systems thinking and abstraction skills.
• Experience with full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Consult with users and stakeholders to understand workflows.
• Identify patterns and turn requests into reusable primitives/platforms.
• Build tools that empower less-technical users.
• Make product and prioritization decisions, not just execute specs.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback to improve UX.
• Learn new tools and domains as the product evolves.
