Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Product Engineer I in Spokane, WA to drive new product development and performance improvements across window and door products. You will lead innovation, coordinate with engineering, sales, and service teams, and explore cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The role emphasizes design, prototyping, and launching new products, with travel up to 15% and strong collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required, Mechanical preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in fenestration and/or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, prototypes, certifies, and launches new products.
• Analyzes current products to ensure specifications are maintained.
• Manages Engineering Change Orders and Non-Standard Product Requests.
• Liaises as the technical lead for all projects related to assigned product lines.
• Visits facilities for new product launches and field testing.
