Cornerstone Building Brands in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Product Engineer I to drive new product development for windows and doors, applying problem solving and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements and improve performance. You will prototype, validate, and launch products while supporting cost savings initiatives.

Responsibilities include working with manufacturing, sales, and service teams, visiting facilities and sites, and using CAD tools to create drawings and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with mechanical focus.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering work preferred.
• Experience in new product development preferred.

Responsabilités

• Designs, prototypes, certifies, and launches new products.
• Analyzes current products to ensure specifications are maintained.
• Reviews, analyzes, and determines feasibility of proposed products.
• Monitors compliance with industry standards (AAMA, WDMA, NFRC, etc.).
• Creates detailed drawings, schematics, and data reports for teams.
• Acts as product champion and technical lead for assigned lines.
• Visits facilities for launches, audits, and field testing.
• Supports kaizen and voice-of-customer initiatives.
