Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to drive design and development of Pelican cases and related products at our Torrance, CA site.

You will own projects from concept through production, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of product design and project management experience in mechanical engineering, with hands-on CAD modeling and a record of turning ideas into manufacturable

Qualifications

• Experience in product design and development from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and product design concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design Pelican cases and other products from concept to manufacturing and production.
• Manage multiple new product development and product improvement projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time release and budget adherence.
• Develop concepts and engineering solutions using mechanical design and 3D modeling.
• Create test plans to evaluate design performance and quality.
• Collaborate with vendors and customers on technical and project matters.
