Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is hiring a Product Engineer to bring new cases and products from concept to production. You will manage development projects, evaluate designs, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires hands-on mechanical design expertise, proficiency with SolidWorks, and the ability to travel to suppliers as needed. You will contribute to quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing readiness throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering & product design concepts.
• Experience taking products from design through manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design Pelican cases and products from concept to production.
• Manage multiple new product development and improvement projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to release products on time and within budget.
• Develop concepts and engineering solutions using mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling.
• Collaborate with partners throughout development, production implementation and post-launch.
