Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Power Distribution and Controls Assemblies team is hiring Product Engineers in multiple US locations. You’ll provide electrical and mechanical design support, create documentation, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver equipment per customer specifications.

Relocation assistance is offered. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, with growth across manufacturing sites in Asheville, Fayetteville, Sumter, Greenwood, or El Paso.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or enrolled with expected graduation before July 2027.
• Minimum overall GPA 2.8 (no rounding).
• Geographical relocation to Eaton facilities within the US (Asheville, NC; Fayetteville, NC; Sumter, SC; Greenwood, SC; El Paso, TX).
• Internship or co-op experience of at least 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and define new equipment applications with plant/field engineers.
• Develop detailed drawings and BOMs from product designs.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
• Advise departments on information interpretation for production.
• Manage purchaser onsite visits for equipment release.
• Manage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices.
• Learn and use Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Design Automation, MAPICS.
• Consult with Quality to resolve post-shipment issues.
• Lead special development projects and drive cost/cycle improvements.
• Provide technical training and seminars as required.
• Suggest revisions to department policies and procedures.
