Job summary

Eaton’s Power Distribution and Controls Assemblies division seeks Product Engineers to join our team in the United States. Roles can be based at Asheville, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Sumter, SC, Greenwood, SC, or El Paso, TX with relocation assistance.

COE responsibilities include design, documentation, and manufacturing support for power distribution lines. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with internships or co-ops, and must be able to relocate.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA as specified.
• Internship or co-op experience is required.
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate to Eaton facilities in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical design support for power distribution or control product lines.
• Develop complex drawings and bills-of-materials for purchaser applications.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
• Advise teams in interpreting information for production of equipment.
• Manage purchaser onsite visits to approve equipment for shipping.
• Handle Engineering Change Notices and participate in special projects.
• Support cost and cycle time improvement activities and provide technical training.
