Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Product Engineer with automotive body closure experience to support the development and release of technical requirements and engineering strategies for rear closure systems such as liftgates and tailgates. The role covers design, documentation, and validation from concept to launch.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in closure systems, experience with CATIA V5, and familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience developing closure systems (doors, hoods, liftgates, tailgates).
• Experience writing technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Experience with 3D modeling using CATIA V5.
• Experience with competitive benchmarking and system integration.
• Familiarity with statics/dynamics, FBDs, and Design for Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release technical requirements and engineering strategies for rear closure systems.
• Support rear closures including liftgates, tailgates, cargo doors, and hinges.
• Create and maintain DVP&R, DFMEA, specs, and technical documentation.
• Draft atomic statements for customer use cases and test conditions.
• Develop products from concept through launch and perform basic CATIA modeling.
