HCLTech in Dearborn, MI seeks a Product Engineer Body – Closure System / Applications Engineer to design, develop, and release automotive closure components for vehicle doors and related mechanisms.

With 2+ years of automotive design experience and skills in CATIA, 3DX, and Teamcenter, you will contribute to latching systems, handles, locks, and hinges across doors, hoods, tailgates, and decklids.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience in design, development, or launch of automotive mechanisms.
• Experience on automotive latching systems such as side door, tailgate, or liftgate latches.
• Engineering design and release for body closures systems and related components.

Responsibilities

• Design and release vehicle closure components such as handles, latches, and locks.
• Work on doors, hoods, frunks, tailgates, and decklids with CATIA/3DX/Teamcenter.
