Job summary

Pockyt is hiring a Product Engineer to automate across product, engineering, and operations. You’ll embed with executives and merchants to replace friction with software, using Claude, Cursor, and Codex to ship fast.

This hybrid role is based in New York and involves working with internal teams to reconcile multi-currency workflows and merchant onboarding, with a fast-moving, ambitious team.

Qualifications

• Shipping track record across projects or production work.
• Strong AI fluency and daily use of Claude/Cursor/Codex.
• Full-stack capability across frontend, backend, and data plumbing (Java, TypeScript Vue, Golang).
• Ownership mindset with proactive follow-up.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Embed with internal teams to identify high-leverage workflows and ship end-to-end automation.
• Build internal tools, agents, and integrations to reduce manual work.
• Prototype and ship merchant-facing automation features with core engineering.
• Use AI coding tools and LLM APIs to turn specs into working prototypes in hours.
• Define success metrics and own outcomes (hours saved, errors reduced).
• Translate ambiguous executive asks into shipped product.
• Partner with engineering, product, and design to upstream prototypes into core features.
