Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions is seeking a Product Documentation Specialist to join the new Product Documentation and Structured Knowledge function. You will write release notes, changelogs, and product documentation for assigned product teams while helping shape the standards, templates, and workflows that support scalable documentation practices.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Product Operations, Design, and downstream teams to ensure changes are communicated clearly and accurately,

Qualifications

• Experience writing release notes, changelogs, or technical docs; writing samples required.
• Strong ability to translate technical detail for diverse audiences.
• Excellent writing with precision and deadline discipline.
• Ability to build structure in a developing function in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and publish release notes and changelogs for product teams.
• Explain shipped changes to internal and external audiences.
• Develop and evolve documentation standards, templates, and metadata.
• Manage full documentation lifecycle: intake, drafting, review, publishing, maintenance, retirement.
• Connect docs to quarterly launch readiness and reviews.
• Identify content gaps and suggest practical improvements.
• Use AI-assisted tools while validating outputs against source material.
