Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions is building a dedicated Product Documentation & Structured Knowledge function to standardize and scale product information. This role leads release notes, changelogs, and the evolving source of truth used by product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

You will own the operating model, standards, and roadmap, performing hands-on writing while planning for team growth and leadership as the function expands.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience writing release notes and product documentation.
• Experience establishing governance and scalable structured-content practices.
• Strong audience judgment for reuse across product and customer teams.
• Ability to operate without a runbook and create governance structures.
• Fluency in Jira and Confluence; integrating with product and engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and semantic search.
• Ability to coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Security, or AI Trust when content requires review.

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end documentation operating model.
• Own release notes and changelogs from day one.
• Set structure, voice, taxonomy, and metadata standards.
• Own Confluence information architecture and governance.
• Integrate workflows with Jira, Confluence, and quarterly launches.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and coaching of writers as the function scales.
