Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. is building a new Product Documentation & Knowledge Operations function.

The Lead will own the operating model, governance, and roadmap, starting with release notes and changelogs and expanding into a trusted, AI-ready source of product truth for internal and external teams. The role requires hands-on writing, standards setting, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams, with governance across Confluence and Jira.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience writing release notes and product docs under deadlines.
• Set documentation standards and governance; scale structured-content practices.
• Strong audience judgment across product, engineering, and customer teams.
• Fluency in Jira and Confluence to track work.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and AI-ready content.

Responsibilities

• Own the documentation operating model from intake to publishing and health metrics.
• Manage release notes and changelogs hands-on from day one.
• Define structure, voice, taxonomy, and versioning for product docs.
• Govern Confluence architecture and metadata conventions.
• Integrate workflows with Jira and Confluence; support quarterly launches.
• Ensure downstream teams consume a single trusted source.
• Lead scaling of the function with onboarding and coaching.
