Job summary

Century is seeking a meticulous Product Documentation Specialist to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of product specifications and technical files. This role ensures controlled documentation, revision history, and proper approvals across Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.

The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with ERP and document-management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in product documentation, document control, quality, manufacturing, or related environment is desirable.
• Ability to understand controlled documentation, testing records, and revision-controlled files.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a centralized, controlled repository for product specifications, drawings, testing records, and technical files.
• Ensure documents are current, accurate, authorized, and compliant with control procedures.
• Maintain revision histories and identify obsolete specifications.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and required approvals before release.
• Support development and improvement of document-control standards and processes.
• Coordinate product change notices and ensure revisions are communicated to relevant departments.
