Brilliant Earth seeks a Product Development Specialist in Secaucus, NJ to manage sample inventory, coordinate with jewelry vendors, and keep development moving in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with vendor management required (2+ years preferred).
• Experience in the jewelry industry and/or product development is preferred.
• Experience performing quality assurance testing and photographing physical samples is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including external vendors and partners.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of ERP/inventory systems (NetSuite a plus).
• Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot).
• Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to think critically and adapt quickly, with a high sense of urgency, in a flexible environment.
• Team player with an ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage sample inventory end-to-end; tracking, organizing, photographing, and QA.
• Partner directly with vendors to produce samples and live orders, communicating to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships, including leading weekly meetings to track deliverables.
• Manage style allocation across the catalogue with partners, upholding manufacturing standards and best practices.
