Brilliant Earth in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Procurement Manager - Gemology to lead gemstone procurement, inventory control, and vendor relationships within our operations group. You will direct all gemstone purchases, optimize supply planning, and drive responsible sourcing to ensure top quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Graduate Gemology background, gem/diamond experience, ERP proficiency, and a record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

Graduate gemology degree preferred.
Industry experience in gems and diamonds required.
Experience with vendor management and supply chain in product/retail/eCommerce.
Robust computer skills, including ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement of all gemstone purchases.
Manage relationships with partners and vendors, including developing new relationships and handling escalations.
Oversee supply planning, purchasing, and inventory control as part of quality, delivery and cost objectives.
Ensure product supply chain is well developed for a superior customer experience and efficiency.
Recruit, hire, and develop a strong team to meet objectives.
Communicate with sales, production, and fulfillment teams regarding inventory levels and needs.
Coordinate and allocate tasks to ensure smooth operations with vendors.
Ensure adherence to responsible and traceable supply chain practices.
