Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to provide administrative and logistical support across the product lifecycle, including sample management, packaging data accuracy, and finalization activities.

You will coordinate samples, support packaging proofs, assist with planogram walks, and help with meeting prep and office tasks, contributing to efficient product initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-2 years in an administrative, coordination, or support role, preferably in product-focused environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tracking, receipt, unpacking, and organized storage of all product samples.
• Manage timely shipping and delivery of samples to internal teams, partners, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing samples.
• Initiate packaging projects in packaging systems and ensure data accuracy across databases.
• Support finalization and Planogram (POG) walks with documentation and samples.
• Provide general PD administrative support including meeting scheduling and material prep.
