Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a leading global manufacturer in the United States. The role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing systems to boost productivity and reduce costs, collaborating with product development to design new products and modify existing ones.

You will create layouts, test designs with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Extensive knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and independent work.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with product development to design new products and modify existing ones.
• Create layouts for equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
• Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design, model, and test manufacturing designs and processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product and process issues.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures for consistent high-quality production.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and R&D to implement new strategies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing staff on new processes and equipment.
