Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) invites highly motivated engineering interns/co-ops to join the Product Development team in the San Jose area. You will work full-time, across hybrid or onsite structures, contributing to characterization, test-program development, and data-driven analysis for next-generation processors.

Qualifications

US-based university master's student in CS/CE/EE or related field.
Knowledge of C++, Linux, and scripting languages.
Familiar with Agile methodologies.
Courses in computer architecture, digital logic, circuit theory.

Responsibilities

Support characterization and build production test programs through parametric, data, and statistical analysis.
Train to perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield and target goals to initiate production ramp.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
Build and maintain technical documents; debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-gen AMD processors.
Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance, process, and test sensitivities.
