Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role - we will involve you in supporting Product Development Engineers in characterization and to build production test programs through parametric, data and statistical analysis.

You will train to perform engineering studies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure yield, coverage and ramp targets as part of next-generation AMD microprocessor work.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a US-based university as an undergraduate in CS/CE/EE.
• Familiarity with C++, Linux, scripting languages and software tooling.
• Experience with version control and Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and test program development.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to aid yield and ramp.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Build and maintain technical docs; debug test programs for AMD processors.
• Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance sensitivities.
