Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a highly motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our Santa Clara/San Jose team. You will assist engineers in characterization and building production test programs for next-generation AMD processors.

This full-time co-op/intern position can be hybrid or onsite and runs Spring/Summer or Summer/Fall terms. Enrolled US undergraduates in CS/CE/EE are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university as an undergrad in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Knowledge of C++, Linux, scripting languages and modern software practices.
• Familiarity with version control and Agile/ Scrum processes.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield and ramp readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; debug test programs for next-gen AMD processors.
• Participate in product debug to identify performance sensitivities.
