Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role you will support characterization, build production test programs, and perform data-driven analyses to help optimize yield and ramp production.

You will work with multi-functional teams, develop technical documents, and contribute to product debug and characterization for next-generation AMD processors. This internship offers hands-on experience at the AI ecosystem epicenter.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university as an undergraduate student.
• Interest in Product Development engineering and manufacturing context.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid/on-site role at AMD facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in characterization and building production test programs using parametric data and statistics.
• Support engineering studies to improve yield, coverage and ramp to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documents, and debug manufacturing/test programs for future AMD processors.
• Participate in product debugging and characterization to identify performance sensitivities.
