Job summary

Raytheon’s Effector Guidance Electronics Department in Huntsville, AL seeks a Product Development Engineer to lead PCB/CCA manufacturing and subsystem assembly efforts. You will drive design for manufacturability and work with IPTs across materials, layout, and supplier selection.

The role emphasizes IPC/MIL guidance, aerospace standards, and close collaboration with suppliers. Onsite work in Huntsville with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience to include at least 2 of the following: PCB manufacturing; Circuit card manufacturing/assembly; Experience with IPC and MIL specifications and design guides.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for input to the design process in materials selection, construction, layout, component selection and placement, and COE capabilities.
• Create development schedules/plans and ensure timely participation of Mechanical Engineering, ECAD, Parts Engineering, Planners, and Suppliers.
• Facilitate the prototype development process, support Producibility Engineering, and participate in Gate Reviews.
• Provide assistance with identifying and developing key PCB/CCA supplier partners.
• Periodic travel to suppliers for assessments and product readiness reviews may be required.
