Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Current Product Development Engineer to advance faucet product performance, value, and manufacturability. The role emphasizes cost reduction, global plant efficiency, and proactive engineering solutions with measurable results.

The position requires a mechanical/EE ABET degree, 2+ years’ experience, CAD proficiency (Creo/Windchill), and travel up to ~15%. Onsite work four days/week in Kohler, WI, with a competitive salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required (mechanical or electrical preferred).
Minimum 2 years of mechanical engineering experience; leadership of engineering or cross-functional teams is desirable.
Working knowledge of CAD modeling; Creo/Windchill experience preferred.
Hands-on fabrication and prototyping skills.
Experience with SAP is a plus and ability to manage product data.
Domestic and international travel ~15% as needed.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess technical feasibility of product redesigns and cost-reduction activities.
Apply engineering analysis to design improvements for production efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Review returns to determine root causes and troubleshoot with customers.
Develop and validate short- and long-term solutions for performance issues.
Create and maintain detailed product specifications reflecting manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
Own design accuracy including GD&T, tolerances, form/fit/function.
