Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as Pro/E and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T and FEA tools.
• Willingness to travel ~10% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Understand evolving industry needs and product requirements.
• Collaborate with Signal Integrity (EE) to align mechanical design with electrical performance.
• Ensure high reliability by coordinating with Mechanical Integrity and meeting specs.
• Design for high-volume manufacturing with quality and efficiency.
• Conduct tolerance analyses and material selection.
• Develop initial product specifications and technical documentation.
• Interface with customers during project phases and assist sales.
• Work with suppliers for DFM, prototyping, tooling design and qualifications; travel internationally.
• Provide technical support to marketing and sales.
• Contribute to quality investigations and operational excellence.
• Participate in fixture/tooling design and test plans.
• Contribute to cost-reduction projects via material and process improvements.
