Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join the engineering team. In this role, you will design new products and support prototype testing. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and experience with 3D design software like Inventor are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the material handling industry.
• Experience in conveyor systems with carton or pallet handling.
• Experience with Motor Drive Roller (MDR) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and develop new fabricated products for conveyor systems.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot design issues.
• Perform engineering calculations for robust design.

Skills

Experience in the design and development of conveyor-related products

Proficient with AutoCAD

SolidWorks experience

Ability to handle multiple projects

Excellent written and verbal communication

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

Master’s degree is a plus
