Job description

Job Title: Product Development Coordinator
Location: Remote (Nashville-based)
Status: Full-Time
Reports to: Sr. Product Development Manager

At Ancient Nutrition, our mission is to harness history’s most powerful superfoods and deliver them in ways that seamlessly fit modern lifestyles. But our purpose goes far beyond creating supplements—we’re deeply committed to the health of our planet and the people who live on it.

As pioneers of the regenerative agriculture movement, we’re transforming how food is grown and how wellness products are made. Through partnerships with leaders like Regenerative Organic Certified, groundbreaking collaborations with the Rodale Institute, and recognition as a certified B Corporation, we’re building a future where environmental sustainability and nutritional integrity go hand in hand.

We believe in a world where supplements are made with purpose, powered by ingredients grown in harmony with nature. Together, we’re cultivating healthier people and a healthier planet—and ultimately, we’re working to save the world with superfoods.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-driven and organized Product Development Coordinator to support our growing innovation pipeline. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sr. Product Development Manager to track project timelines, manage documentation, support cross-functional execution, and contribute to the successful launch of new products.

You’ll also play a key role in label development, from document verification and version control to change order creation. You’ll help coordinate in-person and remote flavor panels and ensure alignment across departments through consistent, high-quality communication.

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset—plus a passion for wellness and natural products.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Support execution of new product innovation across multiple supplement categories
  • Coordinate and lead all in-person flavor panels, including setup, feedback collection, documentation, and follow-up
  • Assist with project timelines, sample coordination, and task tracking across internal systems (Unifize and PD tools)
  • Manage cross-functional handoffs, including PD/Quality checkpoints and system-based workflows
  • Play a critical role in label management, including proofing, routing, change order creation, and documentation verification
  • Support documentation processes including formulation inputs, SFP entries, BOMs, and quality standards
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date product briefs and support internal version control for labeling files
  • Provide technical and project support as needed by the Sr. Product Development Manager
  • Lead UL WERCSmart submissions to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain internal product mockups for retailer and internal use
  • Support packaging selection and fill tests for new innovation
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management (preferably in product development, quality, or the CPG industry)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Passionate about health, wellness, and natural products
  • Collaborative team player who works well across departments—especially with labeling, packaging, and compliance stakeholders
Experience Preferred:
  • Familiarity with labels, packaging workflows, or regulatory reviews
  • Background in dietary supplements, natural products, or consumer goods
  • Experience using platforms such as Unifize, Asana, Smartsheet, and Google Suite
Core Values:
  • Run to win the race – Pursue excellence in everything we do
  • Committed to constant growth – Strive to refine and improve daily
  • Take ownership – Be proactive and accountable
  • Be a purpose-driven team player – Be dependable and mission-aligned
  • Play as a team – Support each other and work toward a common mission
Benefits + Culture:

  • Competitive health, dental, vision, and life insurance
