Zusammenfassung

Whatnot is seeking a Product Designer for its Trust & Risk team to design scalable systems that protect buyers and sellers while balancing safety and speed. You will create end-to-end experiences, wireframes, and polished visuals that translate complex policies into intuitive product flows.

You'll collaborate with product, eng, operations, data science, and policy experts to design enforcement tools and real-time interventions for live shows.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
• Strong interaction and systems thinking—you can untangle complex flows and design for edge cases.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Protopie, Framer, etc.).
• Deep understanding of user experience design principles and methodologies, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience designing zero-to-one products or new platforms, demonstrating your ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and define new product spaces.
• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or supply chain management is a plus.

• Design experiences that make enforcement decisions feel clear, fair, human, and actionable.
• Support internal teams who review reports, moderate content, investigate fraud, and resolve user issues through efficient, usable tooling.
• Contribute to the broader design system while advocating for accessibility and inclusive user experiences.
• Use data, research, and feedback to improve existing tools and identify new opportunities to reduce harm and build user trust.
