Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Product Designer for the Social team to own end-to-end design of social features in the consumer mobile app. You will partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to shape how millions discover, share, and engage with financial content.

The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering and design, requiring empathy, rigor, and a strong portfolio. In-person presence is expected in Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product design for consumer mobile apps with a strong portfolio.
• Experience designing social/community features in mobile apps.
• Proficiency in Figma and contributing to design systems.
• Ability to balance strategy with high-fidelity visual execution.
• Proven collaboration with engineering, product and research teams.
• Clear communication and receptive to feedback.
• Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating interaction design and user-centered process.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end social/community features in the Robinhood app.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, data scientists, and researchers.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for development.
• Contribute to and evolve Robinhood's design system.
• Coordinate with marketing, brand, and content teams for cohesive experiences.
• Present work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback efficiently.
