Job summary

Stoke Space is hiring a Product Designer to evolve Boltline, our flagship software platform. You will design intuitive interfaces that enable teams to build and validate advanced hardware with full traceability, supporting customers across space, energy, and manufacturing.

You’ll join a small, mission-driven design team and own features from problem framing to shipped implementation, collaborating with product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure a consistent user experience and scalable

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating strong UI and interaction design for complex/technical products.
• Deep Figma expertise with scalable systems and prototypes.
• 4+ years of hands-on product design, end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, engineers, testers, and end users to refine requirements and design Boltline features.
• Collaborate with a small team of senior designers to ensure a unified user experience and shared vision.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from problem framing to shipped implementation.
• Break down ambiguous problems into concrete design work for engineering execution.
• Identify trade-offs and communicate scope, sequencing, and quality constraints under schedule pressure.
• Translate ideas into polished Figma designs and iterate with feedback from product teams.
• Validate designs via usability studies and early release feedback.
• Contribute to shaping and expanding the early design system as Boltline grows.
