Job summary

Stoke Space is hiring a System Architect to join a small, agile team focused on architecture concepts and system requirements for the Nova launch system. You will translate customer objectives into feasible technical concepts and perform first-order analysis across disciplines.

You will support implementation, learn from testing and flight operations, and push for architecture improvements while staying focused and fast-paced. US citizen status per ITAR may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years in an engineering role on high-performance, high-reliability products.
• Strong fundamentals across multiple engineering disciplines and first-order analysis.
• Ability to decide quickly in uncertain environments and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer input and business goals, then develop system architecture and ConOps.
• Define system requirements, product breakdown, and decompose to lower-level products.
• Perform first-order analysis and generate estimations of performance with limited data.
• Define reliability, margins, and maintain common approaches across the program lifecycle.
• Support architecture through full lifecycle including design, integration, test, and operations.
• Provide cross-system technical insight to identify and mitigate risks.
