Qualifications

• Substantial experience designing and shipping high-quality consumer software at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of new consumer experiences across emerging verticals.
• Create prototypes to help teams learn quickly and ship polished experiences.
• Define how ChatGPT should behave in domains while preserving a coherent experience.
• Explore new interaction models enabling context, complex decisions, and action.
• Partner with research, engineering, safety, product management, and domain experts.
• Conduct and apply user research to understand needs and risks.
• Balance domain requirements with reusable patterns to scale products.
• Contribute to OpenAI’s broader design culture and raise craft standards.
