Job summary

Grid Status is building a modern data analytics platform, and we’re looking for a product-minded designer to join our early team. You’ll work on 0 → 1 features, help shape design systems, and collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to translate complex data into clear, actionable UI.

You should have shipped multiple products with data-rich interfaces, focusing on outcomes over processes, and be excited to define a product vision and design language as we scale.

Qualifications

• You have shipped multiple products with clear, actionable UIs for complex data.
• You think in outcomes over tools and processes and adapt fidelity to context.
• You communicate design decisions clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design features end-to-end in close collaboration with engineers, SMEs, and customer-facing teammates.
• Use documents, mockups, and coded prototypes to communicate ideas from first principles and guide decisions.
• Proactively identify issues and ship fixes for UI quality and workflow efficiency.
• Evolve our design language and system across product UI, brand, and data visualizations.
• Help shape our design processes as the organization scales.
