Anthropic is seeking a Product Designer to shape the future of AI-powered products and user experiences. This role sits at the intersection of design craftsmanship, AI research, and product strategy, with a focus on creating intuitive interactions for products used by millions of people.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to design experiences that make AI more useful, trustworthy, and accessible, translating AI capabilities into polished product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; relevant field preferred.
• Portfolio showing user-centered design thinking and polished UI.
• Experience delivering complex products from concept to launch in ambiguous settings.
• Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience using AI tools including Claude Code in design process.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and researchers to define vision and roadmaps.
• Deliver features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
• Define foundational design patterns for emerging AI capabilities.
• Create polished interfaces with high usability and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to improve product flows and user experience.
• Develop designs and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
• Explore new interaction patterns reflecting AI capabilities.
• Prototype using Claude Code to accelerate workflows.
