Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a designer to shape the UX of AI products and collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product managers to deliver practical interfaces. You will ship fast, iterate on patterns native to AI, and balance pixels, copy, and edge cases while moving features to users this week.

This role requires experience designing complex workflows, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Figma. Knowledge of Claude Code and front-end basics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping complex workflows for enterprise/B2B SaaS or API products.
• Proven ability to execute end-to-end on large, complex products in ambiguous environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Experience using Claude Code as a creative partner in design practice.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and other stakeholders to define product vision, strategy and roadmaps, and shipping.
• Understand the technical architecture and define primitives for new capabilities.
• Define feature areas with attention to detail and polish for broader flows.
• Craft beautiful, polished user interfaces that build trust and showcase AI technology.
• Be comfortable in code, design, prototypes, and learning new ways to communicate ideas.
• Ship high-quality work in a fast-paced startup environment.
