Job summary

Assembled is seeking a Product Designer in New York City to tackle broad, complex product problems across operations and AI-enabled workflows. You’ll design tools that help support teams understand what’s happening, make high-stakes decisions, plan for the future, and collaborate with AI to get things done.

You will own projects from research through shipped experiences, partnering with customers and working directly with product and engineering to influence the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and shipping production B2B software.
• Strong systems and interaction design; distill messy needs into clear, reusable experiences.
• Able to turn ambiguity into shipped product quickly while maintaining craft and customer impact.
• Lead your own research and build strong relationships with users.
• Excellent communicator who brings engineers, product partners, and teammates along.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex operational workflows into intuitive, powerful products.
• Define new interaction patterns for working with AI agents, including delegation and decision visibility.
• Design data-rich experiences to show what’s happening, why it matters, and next steps.
• Shape new product areas and foundational workflows from planning to integrations.
• Lead customer research and translate needs into strategy and decisions.
