Cella is seeking a contract Product Designer to own end-to-end UX and visual design for acquisition and monetization across connected TV, mobile, and web.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in a senior or lead role within complex digital ecosystems.

• Strong online portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and problem-solving across devices.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted prototyping and generative design tools and research synthesis workflows.

Job description

This contract Product Designer role at Cella will own end-to-end UX and visual design for user acquisition and purchase funnel experiences across connected TV, mobile, and web. The work includes partnering with product and engineering leaders and applying AI-assisted workflows to speed up ideation, iteration, and high-fidelity delivery while maintaining design craft.

Role Overview

As the Product Designer for acquisition and monetization, you will shape the user journeys that move from acquisition through purchase experiences. You will translate legal, billing, and feature requirements into clear, consistent flow design across multiple platforms. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement to the design system and analysis of competitive patterns to support conversion and unlock digital revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX and visual design for acquisition and purchase flows that drive user conversion across connected TV, mobile, and web.
• Collaborate directly with senior cross-functional leaders in product and engineering to convert legal, billing, and feature requirements into seamless user journeys.
• Integrate AI design tools and prototyping workflows to accelerate ideation, iteration, and high-fidelity production without compromising craft.
• Evolve existing design systems and perform competitive market analysis to maintain functional consistency and identify new opportunities for digital revenue.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience in a senior or lead capacity within complex digital ecosystems.
• Proven experience designing purchase funnels, subscription flows, or monetization models in streaming or e-commerce environments.
• Fluency with AI-assisted prototyping, generative design tools, and research synthesis workflows.
• A comprehensive online portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and strong functional problem-solving across multiple form factors.
• Open to candidates local to New York, NY and Burbank/Los Angeles, CA.
